- Only a minute later, Nina Notman made it 2-0 UNC, smashing in a pass from Emily Wold
- The Eagles would respond in the 20th minute when junior Eryn McCoy dribbled into the circle and rocketed a shot that found the top right corner to bring the team within one
- BC would even it up in the 46th minute when senior AshLeigh Sebia got her stick on a long pass from freshman Frederique Haverhals, lifting it into the top corner of the net
- Gab Major deflected a pass from Malin Evert into the right corner of the net with seven minutes remaining
