WEYMOUTH, Mass. -- Following the program's first win at Virginia Tech last weekend, the Eagles picked up right where they left off on Friday night, taking down Clemson 5-2 for their second straight win, pushing them to 2-1 in the ACC. The doubles team of and , who put together such a strong fall campaign, won their match 6-4, but Clemson rallied to take the point in the third doubles match.
Clemson's momentum stopped there, however. , who won in straight sets against the Hokies last weekend, did not drop a single game in her singles match and really set the tone for the Eagles, who captured five of six singles points.
