Durham, N.H. – The ninth-ranked Boston College field hockey team shut out New Hampshire, 4-0, on Sunday afternoon at Memorial Field. The Eagles (8-4) stayed perfect in non-conference action, earning their eighth victory and third shutout of the season.
The Wildcats (4-6) managed nine shots to BC's 14 and four corners to the Eagles' seven. The Eagles have won the last eight meetings against UNH and 15 of the last 16.
Senior scored the first goal of the game just over three minutes into the contest and BC did not look back, adding three more to seal the victory.
