DERBY, Conn. – The Boston College rowing team competed in the Head of the Housatonic on Oct. 9th to begin the fall season. The Eagles raced four eights on the Housatonic River in preparation for the annual Head of the Charles where BC will compete on its home course.
BC raced all four boats in the 8+ Collegiate Women's Division I. Out of 25 boats, the 1V came in fourth overall with a time of 15:36. The 1V was able to pass Charles River rivals, Boston University, on their way to the finish. Three of Brown University's top boats finished in first, second, and third place positions.
