CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- On a night where Boston College retired the jersey of one of the school's all-time greats in Bill Curley, the Eagles used a gritty defensive effort as the Eagles defeated Miami 64-57 Sunday night at Conte Forum.
The Eagles held Miami to 36.7 percent shooting on the night and just 4-of-26 shooting from three-point range.
It marked the first time in ACC history for Boston College the Eagles have held opponents in consecutive games to less than 58 points. BC defeated Pitt 66-57 in its last game prior to tonight's 64-57 win over the Hurricanes.
