CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College tri-captains Casey Fitzgerald, Christopher Brown, and Michael Kim are all headed to the American Hockey League after signing professional contracts this week.
Fitzgerald agreed on a two-year entry level contract with the Buffalo Sabres, who drafted him in the third round of the 2016 NHL Draft. Fitzgerald's contract begins next season as he will initially report to the AHL's Rochester Americans.
Brown and Kim both signed amateur tryout agreements with Pittsburgh's affiliate, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, for the remainder of the 2018-19 season.
Fitzgerald and Brown each played in all 39 games this season and finished their careers with 151 games played, becoming just the 46th and 47th BC players to reach 150.
