CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College women's soccer player Éabha O'Mahony has been named to the Republic of Ireland women's national team roster that will play an international friendly and a World Cup qualifying fixture later this month.
O'Mahony is one of nine defenders named to the 27-player roster that will face the Philippines in a friendly on June 19 before taking on Georgia in a 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup Qualifier for Group A on June 27.
O'Mahony, who started and played in 15 of BC's 18 contests as a first-year in 2021, has been a member of the senior women's national team since she was 15, making her debut in a friendly against the U.
