Duke Defense Overpowers Eagles

DURHAM, N.C. – The Boston College volleyball team dropped a three-set contest at Duke, falling to the Blue Devils, 25-21, 25-22, 25-17, at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Friday night.

The Eagles (12-3, 2-1 ACC) hit at a .127 clip (35 kills – 21 errors – 110 total attempts) but were outmatched by Duke (7-5, 1-2 ACC) at the net as the Blue Devils recorded 13 blocks to BC's four.

Duke hit at .350 percent, recording 48 kills and just 13 errors on 100 attempts. The Blue Devils edged BC in digs, 39-34, and service aces, 3-2, but committed nine service errors to the Eagles' one.
