SYRACUSE, N.Y. - In the Boston College lacrosse team's 21-9 victory over MAAC champion Canisius on Friday in the NCAA Tournament's first round, a multitude of the Eagles' program and individual records fell, including:
- The team's highest goal total in an NCAA game (21)
- The team's most goals in a game this season
- The team's third-most goals in a game in program history
- Apuzzo, Weeks and Kenzie Kent recorded the most points in an NCAA game in program history (7 apiece)
- Hart's goal total was a career-best
But after the game, there was just one less obvious mark that head coach Acacia Walker wanted to talk about: the Eagles set their single-season draw control record, notching their 300th of the year in the contest.
