CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – For the first time in four years, the Boston College women's basketball team defeated Duke, 92-90, double overtime victory on Thursday evening at Conte Forum. Boston College improved to 14-7 overall and 3-5 in the ACC. Duke drops to 9-11 overall and 1-7 in the conference.
Freshman guard Makayla Dickens drained identical buzzer beaters at the end of regulation and the second overtime period to give the Eagles their third ACC win.
With time dripping from the clock and down by two, Dickens hit a jumper from the top of the key to send the game into overtime tied at 66.
