BRIGHTON, Mass. – The Boston College baseball team collected a 2-1 victory over Louisville on Sunday afternoon at Harrington Athletics Village on Senior Day, closing out the regular-season Atlantic Coast Conference home slate with a win.
Sophomore Brian Dempsey led the Eagles (16-30, 7-20 ACC) with a 3-for-4 day and drove in the game-winning run in the eighth to break a one-all tie game. Freshman Chris Galland was 2-for-3 and extended his on-base streak to a team-long 21 games.
Junior RHP Thomas Lane picked up his second win of the season, throwing the final two innings without allowing a hit or run.
