WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Hockey East announced on Monday that Boston College forward Delaney Belinskas has been named the league's Player of the Week. The senior led the country in scoring on the weekend with six points on a nation-leading five goals and one assist.
Belinskas scored three goals in BC's come-from-behind 7-5 win over Vermont on Friday night, notching her third career hat trick and tallying an assist in the victory, and then had two goals in Saturday's tie. She opened the scoring 43 seconds into Friday's game and then completed her hat trick midway through the third period before adding an assist on the game's final goal.
