Boston College football received some big news today, as junior defensive end Zach Allen announced that he will be returning for his final season with the Eagles.
Allen was the MVP of the defensive line this past year, and really picked up his game even with Harold Landry shelved for most of the year. In 2017 the Connecticut native finished with 100 tackles. Allen led BC with six sacks and his 15.5 tackles-for-loss ranked tied for 10th in BC single-season history (via BCEagles.com).
“There are still skills I want to develop to be a first-round pick, and our coaches, particularly Coach Pasqualoni, are the best at helping me to reach that goal,” Allen added.
