The Boston College Men’s Hockey team named its captains on Thursday afternoon, announcing David Cotton as captain and Graham McPhee as the alternate. Both players will be entering their senior season at Boston College with the hopes of reaching the NCAA Tournament for the first time.
Cotton was a bright spot in a challenging season for the Eagles, posting by far the best numbers of his BC career. Cotton, a Hurricanes draft pick, put up 36 points on the season, 10 greater than his next closest teammate. Cotton also lead the team in goals, with 23, eclipsing his total of 19 that he scored in his first two seasons.
