The Boston College women’s basketball team fought hard against #2 Louisville today, but were unable to earn an upset against the undefeated Cardinals. Louisville won the game by a score of 89-70, thanks in no small part to Dana Evans’ game leading 24 points.
The Eagles scored first and then had a 1 point, 4-3 lead early in the game, but Louisville dominated from there, leading by as many as 23 points late in the game.
Although the Eagles lost, they performed better against the Cardinals than almost any other team this season. Top 20 team DePaul is the only team to score more points on Louisville than BC this season, with 75.
