CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College rising senior Asiya Dair was one of 30 women's tennis student-athletes named to the 2016-17 ACC All-Academic Team, which the Atlantic Coast Conference announced on Monday.
This is Dair's second straight ACC All-Academic recognition after also earning the honor for the 2015-16 season as a sophomore. Overall, this is the women's program's seventh academic all-conference honor.
In the 2017 spring dual season, Dair posted an overall record of 23-19 in both singles and doubles. She played exclusively at the No. 1 singles spot for the Eagles this spring, registering a 12-12 record – including 5-9 mark in ACC action.
