CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Rising senior forward David Cotton has been voted as the captain of the Boston College men's hockey team for the 2019-20 season, while classmate Graham McPhee has been selected as the Eagles' assistant captain.
The pair replaces the leadership trio of seniors Christopher Brown, Casey Fitzgerald and Michael Kim, who spent the last two seasons as tri-captains and are all currently playing in the American Hockey League.
A Hockey East First Team All-Star for the first time, Cotton is coming off a career year with 23 goals to lead the league.
