WEYMOUTH, Mass. -- The Eagles comeback effort came up just short on Friday night, as the Irish took down the Eagles 4-3 with the result coming down to the final singles match. After Notre Dame pulled ahead 1-0 in doubles, Boston College stormed back, with , , and all winning their singles matches in straight sets. The Irish battled back and eventually pulled away in the final set of the final singles match to seal the victory.
The Eagles will look to rebound against Louisville on Sunday morning.
