BC hockey has released an update on Coach York, who has missed the past 3 games due to eye surgery. York underwent a successful procedure on October 25 and is working on his recovery. The Eagles expect him back behind the bench "very soon." He will not be making the trip to Maine this weekend however.
This is the second year that York has missed games due to eye surgery. He missed time in 2013 due to a detached retina.
Coach Greg Brown has been leading the Eagles in York's absence. Brown lead the Eagles to a tie at Merrimack and wins against Providence and UMass.
