CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College volleyball alum Amaka Chukwujekwu (Laurel, Md.) has been named a nominee for NCAA Woman of the Year.
Chukwujekwu, who returnned to the Heights for a fifth year of eligibility in 2021 following the completion of her degree, left as the program's all-time leader in total blocks (461), block assists (381), hitting percentage (.306) and sets played (512). She also owns the top two single-season hitting percentages in BC history at .377 (2019) and .342 (2021).
In the split 2020-21 season, Chukwujekwu earned her second straight All-ACC Second Team honor; becoming just the second two-time All-ACC pick from Boston College.
