WASHINGTON - REPEAT! For the second straight season, Charlotte North was named the 2022 Tewaaraton Award winner, given to the nation's best men and women's lacrosse player.
North is the first player since Taylor Cummings (Maryland) from 2014-16 to collect the prestigious honor in back-to-back seasons, while it's the third time since 2018 that an Eagle was named the best player in lacrosse (Sam Apuzzo).
The Dallas, Texas native put forth another stellar season, leading the team with 92 goals, a personal-best 115 points, and 139 draw controls. She was third in the country in goals, fourth in draw controls, and fifth in points.
