CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's hockey team fell to Vermont, 4-2, on Saturday afternoon at Kelley Rink.
The Eagles took a 2-0 lead by the end of the first period thanks to goals from Kelly Browne and Gaby Roy and held the lead through 40 minutes. Vermont pulled within one early in the third period and then equalized midway through the frame on a power-play goal before taking the lead five minutes later. The Catamounts added an insurance goal late as Abigail Levy headed off the ice for an extra attacker.
