STORRS, Conn. — Boston College Baseball (12-11, 2-7), got back in the win column with a 7-4 win over UConn (9-13, 0-0) on Tuesday night.
The Eagles broke the scoring in the second inning, with Adam Magpoc (Torrance, Ca.) and Owen DeShazo (Glen Allen, Va.) executing a perfect squeeze play, with DeShazo's bunt bringing Magpoc in from third.
The Huskies pulled two back in the bottom of the frame, but in the fourth inning, Cameron Leary (Bethpage, N.Y.) put BC up for good on a two-out grand slam.
