Cam McDonald, a former commit to Boston College’s men’s ice hockey, has signed with the St. John Sea Dogs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Sportsnet’s Jeff Marek was the first to report the news on Twitter.
McDonald joins another former Boston College commit Peter Reynolds who signed with the Sea Dogs back in May.
Signing with major junior teams before (and even during the season) is nothing new, especially recently for Boston College, but it is certainly worth mentioning that now two strong recruits who were headed to Boston College have now made the decision to sign with major junior teams in Canada.
