CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – A pair of Boston College women's hockey players were honored with Hockey East weekly awards on Monday after standout performances last week.
Senior goaltender Katie Burt (Lynn, Mass.) was tabbed the league's Warrior Player of the Week, while freshman forward Daryl Watts (Toronto, Ontario) was selected as the Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week.
Last week, Burt went 2-0-0 with wins at Boston University and Maine. On Saturday at BU, she set a career high with 43 saves, the first time she'd ever seen more than 37 shots in a game in her career.
