CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College women's hockey senior goaltender Katie Burt earned Hockey East's Warrior Player of the Week award from the conference on Monday. The Lynn, Mass., product went 2-0-0 in goal last week as the third-ranked Eagles swept No. 10 Providence in a home-and-home series.
In Friday's home game at Kelley Rink, Burt posted her third shutout of the season with a 25-save effort in the Eagles' 5-0 win over the Friars.
Saturday on the road at Schneider Arena, Burt made 29 saves – including 15 in the second period – and backed the Eagles to a 3-2 win.
