ERIE, Pa. - The No. 7 Boston College women's hockey team saw its season come to an end on Tuesday night, falling to No. 3 Ohio State 3-1 in the NCAA tournament quarterfinal at Erie Insurance Arena. The Buckeyes advance to face Wisconsin in the national semifinal round.
Abigail Levy made a career-high 45 saves for the Eagles while Savannah Norcross scored her 12th goal of the season.
Boston College opened the scoring, with Norcross finding the back of the net midway through the first period. Levy was strong for BC to start the second period and would end the middle frame with 25 saves.
