NEWTON, Mass. – Despite playing down a man for the final 26 minutes, Brown hung on to defeat Boston College 1-0 on Tuesday night at the Newton Soccer Complex in the Bears' first visit to the Heights in a decade.
Brown (6-3-1, 0-1-1 IVY) took advantage of a 22nd minute strike from Kojo Dadzie and defended effectively the rest of the way. Henrik Weiper registered four saves to post a shutout for the Bears.
BC (3-5-3, 1-3-1 ACC) out-shot Brown 13-6 in the match, led by four shots from rookie and three from senior .
