The first Eagle to win the Stanley Cup as a player was Joe Mullen in 1989 with the Calgary Flames. Mullen would also win the trophy in 1991 and 1992 with Pittsburgh. BC hockey alumnus Kevin Stevens also played for the 1991 and 1992 Pittsburgh Penguins.
In 1994, Brian Leetch won the Stanley Cup with the New York Rangers. The next year, Bill Guerin won the Cup with the New Jersey Devils. To round out the '90s, Doug Brown won Stanley Cups with Detroit in 1997 and 1998.
