Brendan Buckley Joins Men’s Hockey Staff As Assistant Coach

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College alumni Brendan Buckley has been named an assistant coach on the men's ice hockey staff, it was announced Wednesday by head coach Jerry York.

Buckley played for the Eagles from 1995-1999, serving as a captain in his senior season, before going on to enjoy a 12-year professional playing career. Buckley's most recent coaching experience came at Connecticut, where he served as an assistant coach for the past three seasons. With the Huskies, he focused on recruiting and coaching the defensemen on the ice.

"I am excited to bring back to campus a member of my first Boston College recruiting class and captain of the 1998-99 Eagles," said York.
