The Boston College women’s soccer team improved to 7-0 on the season with a 1-0 vitory over Boston University tonight. The Eagles dominated the game, recording 7 shots on goal and allowing only 2. BC also led in corners with 7 to BU’s 3.
The only goal of the game was scored by BC sophomore Mijke Roelfsema at 30:22. Roelfsema scored off of a deflection of Sam Coffey’s corner kick. This was the Dutch sophomore’s first career goal for the Eagles.
At 7-0, the Eagles are off to their best start since 2009 when they began the season on a 9-0 run.
