After a difficult start to the season, the Boston College Eagles are officially off the schnide coming off a 3-1 victory against the Syracuse Orange in Central New York Tuesday evening.
The game started inauspiciously for the Eagles, who entered the game winless in its first five attempts. Meghan Root scored her first goal of the season for Syracuse in the 10th minute to give Syracuse the early lead. However, a two goal push from Jenna Bike and Laura Gouvin to close out the first half pushed the Eagles ahead going into the half, and Emily Knous added to the Eagle lead in the 67th minute to give the Eagles an insurance goal en route to victory.
