The Boston College women’s soccer team game #4 ranked Duke all they could handle Thursday night in Newton, but a second half goal gave the Blue Devils a 2-1 conference win. The Eagles battled all night and had their chances, but were unable to find the back of the net more than once. The loss was the second in a row for BC and their third in four games, a rough streak that has seen their record fall to 9-7-1 on the season and 3-4-1 in ACC play.
BC looked like they were in trouble early on in the game.
