BC women’s soccer needed a solid win to propel them into the playoffs, and they got it tonight with a 7-0 victory over Pittsburgh in the final match of the regular season. After a three game road skid that included two losses and a draw, the Eagles absolutely dominated Pitt, piling on seven goals on twenty-seven shots.
The Eagles dictated possession in the first half and poured in five goals. Sam Coffey and Kayla Jennings each scored a pair before being pulled from the game by Coach Crowley. Sophomore Mia Karras scored her first goal of the season off an Emily Langenderfer assist.
