The 8th-ranked BC women’s soccer team and the Miami Hurricanes played to a draw in Coral Gables tonight. The Eagles outshot Miami eighteen to six, but also were whistled for fourteen fouls to the Hurricanes’ three.
Jenna Bike set up the first goal with a shot that drew a penalty late in the first half. Sam Coffey converted the PK at 33:14 to put the Eagles up 1-0. Miami’s Mallory Olsen evened the score at 70:41 with a breakaway goal after getting past Gianna Mitchell and soaring one over Alexis Bryant into the far corner of the goal.
