After 11 days off, the BC women’s soccer team finally made their ACC debut with a dominant 3-0 win over Syracuse. The Eagles offense took off quickly with a pair of successful corner kicks in the first half. Freshman Kayla Duran recorded her first career goal at 11:19 off a rebound from a Syracuse defender. The offense struck again off another corner at 16:06 with a Kayla Jennings header off the Sam Coffey assist.
The BC defensive pressure continued to impress and the Orange struggled to stay in the offensive zone and create chances. They mustered only three shots to BC’s ten in the first half.
