The Boston College Eagles women’s soccer team closed out the regular season with two home losses.
Thursday, the Eagles fell to the Virginia Cavaliers 2-1. The Eagles held their own through the first half, but two conceded goals in the late 60’s pushed the Hoos ahead. An Emily Knous goal was not enough and the Eagles fell to Virginia 2-1.
Sunday, the Eagles fell to Virginia Tech 3-0. The Eagles once again held their own against the Hokies in the first half, but a nine shot barrage in the second half proved too difficult to withstand. The Eagles conceded three goals in 23 minutes, and the Hokies’ Alia Skinner got the clean sheet.
