Acacia Walker’s fifth season as BC’s women’s lacrosse coach was one to remember, leading the program to its first NCAA championship game.
The accolades, however, have not stopped since the championship. Following Walker’s BCI’s coach of the year award victory, and Walker winning the Northeast Regional Coach of the Year award, she has obtained yet another accolade. Walker was named the Division I Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association’s National Coach of the Year.
Walker set the program record for victories during the 2017 season. She also oversaw a team that collectively had a remarkable year.
