The Boston College women’s lacrosse team is heading to the 2019 Final Four in Baltimore after defeating Princeton by a score of 17-12 today. This is BC’s third straight Final Four, as the Eagles hope to finally win the National Championship.
BC and Princeton started out today’s game pretty evenly matched, going back and fourth throughout the first half. The Eagles took a 7-6 lead into the locker room, and came out ready to dominate in the second, scoring 5 unanswered goals early to run away with the game. The Eagles were led by Sam Apuzzo (4 goals, 1 assist) and Dempsey Arsenault (3 goals, 1 assist), with 7 other Eagles contributing goals for BC.
