The Boston College women’s lacrosse team earned another dominant victory today, picking up a 25-14 win over UMass. The Eagles outshot UMass 47 to 27, won 24 draw controls to UMass’s 15, and caused 9 UMass turnovers.
Taylor Walker opened the scoring for BC just 45 seconds into the game, and the Eagles didn’t let up for the rest of the game. Sam Apuzzo and Kenzie Kent both scored 4 goals in the BC victory, and Sheila Rietano and freshman Jenn Medjid each recorded a hat trick. Apuzzo and Kent each also recorded 3 assists in the game, and Apuzzo led all players with 3 ground balls and 12 draw control wins, continuing to show her dominance across all aspects of the game.
