The Boston College women’s lacrosse team lost to UMass by a score of 15-11 today in the season opener for both squads. Despite scoring first, the Eagles were unable to catch up once UMass started building a lead. Sophomore transfer Rachel Hall made 9 saves in her BC debut.
Charlotte North scored the first goal of the game with a free position goal to put BC up 1-0, but UMass followed up with 2 straight goals to take a 1 goal lead. North scored again 3 minutes later to tie things up before another pair of UMass goals extended the UMass lead.
