Just about a month after helping the Boston College women’s lacrosse team defeat the Syracuse Orange in the 2021 National Championship game as an assistant coach, Kayla Treanor has been announced as the next head coach of the Orange.
Treanor graduated from Syracuse in 2016 and spent a season as an assistant coach for the Orange. She joined BC’s staff in summer 2017, and has been part of the Eagles’ most successful seasons.
Treanor has been a U.S. National Team member since 2013. At Syracuse, she was a three-time Tewaaraton Award finalist and a three-time WLCA Attacker of the Year.
