The Boston College women’s basketball team returns to Conte Forum tonight looking to turn things around after two rough losses on the road to Holy Cross and Providence. URI was BC’s first game under Coach McNamee last season, and the Eagles defeated the Rams 88-64.
This game will be a good test as to how the Eagles can bounce back from adversity, both in terms of returning home after two surprising losses and in terms of dealing with having a number of injuries (Taylor Ortlepp and Akunna Konkwo are both out and Taylor Soule is recovering from a hip pointer from a fall at UNH) and illnesses (Georgia Pineau has been recovering from pneumonia).
