The Boston College women’s basketball team opened ACC play on a tough note this season, dropping this morning’s game against Georgia Tech by a score of 86-68. The Eagles opened the game with a 3 pointer from Makayla Dickens, but Georgia Tech took off from there. The Yellow Jackets led by as much as 34 points throughout the game, and while BC fought back and outscored Tech 23-12 in the final quarter, it wasn’t enough to make a real dent in the lead.
Georgia Tech was just really offensively strong in today’s game, making 51.7 % of their field goals and downing 10 3-pointers.
