This afternoon the Boston College women’s basketball game finally won a game, after losing 9 in a row. BC defeated Pittsburgh 72-61 and improved to 7-18 on the season.
The Eagles were led by sophomore Georgia Pineau, who scored a career high 23 points and added 7 rebounds. Milan Bolden-Morris added a trio of threes and picked up a total of 15 points, and Taylor Ortlepp scored 13 points.
BC was down at the end of the first half, but staged a comeback to come away with victory. The Eagles controlled their turnovers more than usual today, which is something that has been a massive problem for them this season.
