The Eagles’ struggles continued last night when they dropped another home game in a 67-59 loss to the Demon Deacons. With the loss, BC fell to 1-8 in conference play and missed an opportunity to notch an ACC victory against a sub-.500 team. The Deacs improve to 11-12, 3-8 ACC with the win.
BC got off to a slow start that they never quite recuperated from, digging themselves into a 14-point hole in the first half. The offense improved in the second half, with Taylor Ortlepp (19 points) and Milan Bolden-Morris (18 points) leading the way. Ortlepp hit five 3-pointers to help fuel the comeback.
