Boston College Women’s Basketball Falls to Notre Dame, Despite 24 Points From Taylor Ortlepp

The Boston College Eagles women’s basketball team is 0-2 against Notre Dame after losing to the Fighting Irish by a score of 89-55 this afternoon. The Eagles are 7-20 with 2 games remaining in the 2017-18 season.

Taylor Ortlepp, who has shown significant improvement during her sophomore season, led the Eagles with a career high 24 points. Ortlepp also set a career high for 3 pointers, making 6, and senior Katie Quandt grabbed a career high 9 rebounds.

The Eagles had 15 turnovers in today’s game, resulting in 26 points for Notre Dame. Meanwhile, the Fighting Irish allowed only a single basket off a turnover for BC.
