The Boston College women’s basketball team lost a heart-breaker to Miami today, losing 76-73 in a back and forth battle. The Eagles are now 13-7 overall and 2-5 in conference play. Despite the losses, BC has been a much more competitive team this year than in recent seasons.
The Aussies led the game for the Eagles today, with Georgia Pineau leading with 9 rebounds and Taylor Ortlepp recording a team leading 17 points. Meanwhile, freshman Marnelle Garraud lead the game with 3 steals.
The teams ended the first quarter knotted at 22 before BC took over in the second and third quarters, heading into the final quarter with a 59-55 lead.
