It wasn’t pretty, but the Boston College women’s basketball team picked up a 55-52 win over Fordham today. The Eagles struggled to maintain their lead against the Rams, allowing 8 points off of turnovers and 17 second chance points. BC missed way too many shots, including a number of air balls, which resulted in a low scoring game.
The Eagles continue to be driven by their rookies this season. Mimi Bolden-Morris led the team with 16 points, including 4 3-pointers. Fellow freshman Sydney Lowery added 10 points and 5 rebounds. BC’s overseas players are the other highlights of this team - Martina Mosetti had 11 points and 5 rebounds off the bench, Georgia Pineau led the Eagles with 10 rebounds, and Taylor Ortlepp continues to show improved hustle.
