The Boston College Women’s basketball team picked up another high scoring victory today, defeating Siena by a score of 88-59. The Eagles were led by transfer Teya Sidberry, who was just shy of a double-double with 20 points and 9 rebounds.
Both teams game out of the gate with aggressive defense today, but BC built up an early 11-7 lead by allowing Siena to grab just a single rebound as of the first media timeout. Despite matching Siena’s defensive intensity, the Eagles also kept their fouling more under control than the Saints did. The Saints hit the foul limit with just under 3 minutes to go in the first quarter, although BC went just 5-for-8 from behind the line.
